According to The Heat Vision Blog, John C. Reilly and Mary-Louise Parker are in talks to join the cast of Red. Reilly would play a retired CIA agent who is paranoid that everyone is out to kill him, while Parker would play the romantic interest/federal pension worker. Robert Schwentke (The Time Traveler's Wife) will direct Red, which will star Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman and Helen Mirren, and is based on the WildStorm/DC Comic, with Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian producing, and Erich and Jon Hoeber are writing the screenplay. Willis is set to play a former black-ops agent who has gone into retirement, but is forced back into action when a high-tech assassin threatens him and his girlfriend.
